When you have a big group of people unexpected behaviors can happen. It would take a lot more monitoring and vigilance on our part to make sure nothing happens to the little kids. They can do damage and get into the garbage even in their own house.
If it were a smaller group of people, it might be different. Please think long and hard whether you want to have pets at this function.
