MOTION

I hereby make a motion to declare:

THE DESTINATION FOR THE HILLIGER FAMILY REUNION FALL 2009 WILL BE:

SOME YET-TO-BE-DETERMINED MOUNTAIN CABIN(S) CENTRALLY LOCATED IN THE SMOKEY MOUNTAIN REGION

All in favor, comment "Aye" with your name.

All opposed, comment "Nay" with your name.

Any anonymous "Nay" comments will be thrown out.

A minimum of 10 "Aye" comments are needed
for this to be officially passed.

    I was just informed about the face that when voting in a group the correct way to affirm a vote is to say, "Aye", not spelled "I". Therefore, please consider all previous votes as an "Aye" not an "I".

    The Orlando option would be better for us. It's the ONLY option that would give Mitch a better chance of going.

    Hey..... Why don't we just go to Disney World or Sea World or Bush Gardens in the Orlando area. Mitch and I own a time share next to Disney and they are gorgeous! Washers dryer, full kitchens , jacuzzi baths! several pools. I am sure we could get a great room rate for a large party. If you are curious to look at them online... the name is Vacation Villages at Orlando. Also we ARE military as well.... I am sure we can get discounted tickets to Disney, Sea World, etc. as well. Just let us know if you are interested so I can find out exactly how much everything would cost. It's far enough in advance so I am sure availability wouldn't be a problem. Just let us know, Rose

    Having worked at Disney in the Reservation Center, I know this would be a very expensive option. The tickets alone would be more than most could afford even w/ a Military discount. I'm also familiar with the cost of staying in the Orland area, and it's definitely more expensive as well. Not to mention, I want to spend our time together, not staning in line. And lastly, my guess is that Grandma would not have much fun with this option, and this is for her 80th birthday.
